Törene, Yalova Gençlik ve Spor İl Müdürü Salik Kılıç, Yalova Gençlik Merkezi Müdürü Celal Kahveci, Yalova Lisesi Müdür Yardımcısı Muhittin Aycan ve daire personeli katıldı. Saygı duruşu ve İstiklal Marşı’nın okunmasının ardından, İl Müdürü Salik Kılıç tarafından Atatürk Anıtı’na çelenk sunuldu. Tören boyunca gençlerin ve protokol üyelerinin birlik ve beraberlik içinde olduğu görüldü.

Engelsiz Kafe’de Anlamlı Sergi
Çelenk sunumunun ardından Yalova Gençlik Merkezi tarafından 19 Mayıs Gençlik ve Spor Bayramı kapsamında hazırlanan karma serginin açılışı yapıldı. Sergi, Gazi Paşa Bulvarı üzerinde bulunan Engelsiz Kafe’de sanatseverlerle buluştu.

Serginin açılış törenine, Yalova Gençlik ve Spor İl Müdürü Salih Kılıç, Gençlik Merkezi Müdürü Celal Kahveci’nin yanı sıra çok sayıda davetli katıldı. Açılışta konuşan Gençlik Merkezi Müdürü Celal Kahveci, duygusal anlar yaşattı.

Kahveci konuşmasında şu ifadelere yer verdi:
“Bu gün bu serginin açılışında emeği geçen herkese teşekkür ederim. Tabi şunu da unutmamak lazım: Uzun yıllardır dairemizde emeği olan ve bu gün bu serginin açılışında büyük çabaları bulunan sayın Mustafa Kemal Bektaş öğretmenimize teşekkür ediyoruz. Kendisi emeklilik dilekçesini vererek yeni bir hayata başlayacak. Kendisine emeklilik hayatında başarılar diler, rahat bir emeklilik geçirmesini temenni ederiz.”

Emekli Öğretmene Sürpriz Plaket
Konuşmaların ardından protokol üyeleri tarafından açılış kurdelesi kesildi. Kurdelenin kesilmesiyle birlikte sergi salonu gezildi. Katılımcılar, gençlerin ve kursiyerlerin el emeği göz nuru eserlerini ilgiyle inceledi.

Sergi gezisi sırasında, uzun yıllar boyunca Yalova Gençlik Merkezi’ne hizmet eden ve emeklilik aşamasına gelen Mustafa Kemal Bektaş’a teşekkür plaketi takdim edildi. Plaket, Yalova Gençlik ve Spor İl Müdürü Salih Kılıç tarafından verildi. Bektaş’a plaketi sunulurken duygusal anlar yaşandı, katılımcılar tarafından alkışlarla desteklendi.

Sergi, Bayram Boyunca Ziyarete Açık
Engelsiz Kafe’de düzenlenen karma sergi, 19 Mayıs Gençlik ve Spor Bayramı boyunca tüm halkın ziyaretine açık kalacak. Sergide resim, el işi, tezhip, ebru ve fotoğraf gibi birçok farklı branşta eser yer alıyor. Amaç, gençlerin sanatsal yeteneklerini sergilemesine olanak sağlamak ve bayram coşkusunu sanatla taçlandırmak.

Yetkililer, bu tür etkinliklerle gençlerin sosyal ve kültürel gelişimine katkı sağlamayı hedeflediklerini belirtti.

Commemoration and Art in Yalova for May 19: Wreath Laying and Mixed Exhibition
YALOVA – The Yalova Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate, through its affiliated Yalova Youth Center, organized a meaningful program within the scope of the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. The first event of the day was a wreath-laying ceremony at the Atatürk Monument in Yalova.

The ceremony was attended by Salik Kılıç, Provincial Director of Youth and Sports; Celal Kahveci, Director of the Yalova Youth Center; Muhittin Aycan, Vice Principal of Yalova High School; and other staff members. Following a moment of silence and the national anthem, Director Kılıç laid the wreath at the monument. A strong sense of unity and solidarity was observed among the youth and protocol members throughout the ceremony.

Meaningful Exhibition at the Disability-Friendly Café
After the wreath-laying, the mixed exhibition prepared by the Yalova Youth Center for May 19 was opened. The exhibition was held at the Disability-Friendly Café (Engelsiz Kafe) located on Gazi Pasha Boulevard.

The opening ceremony was attended by Salih Kılıç (Provincial Director of Youth and Sports), Celal Kahveci (Director of the Youth Center), and many other guests. During the opening speech, Director Celal Kahveci expressed emotional sentiments.

In his speech, Kahveci stated:
"I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the opening of this exhibition today. Of course, we must not forget this: We extend our gratitude to our dear teacher Mustafa Kemal Bektaş, who has served our institution for many years and made great efforts for this exhibition. He has submitted his retirement petition and is about toa new life. We wish him success in his retirement and hope he enjoys a peaceful retirement."

Surprise Plaque for Retiring Teacher
After the speeches, the protocol members cut the opening ribbon. Once the ribbon was cut, attendees toured the exhibition hall, carefully examining the handmade and artistic works created by young people and trainees.

During the tour, a plaque of appreciation was presented to Mustafa Kemal Bektaş, who has served the Yalova Youth Center for many years and is now retiring. The plaque was given by Provincial Director Salih Kılıç. The moment was emotional, and Bektaş received a round of applause from all participants.

The exhibition features works in various disciplines, including painting, handicrafts, illumination (tezhip), marbling (ebru), and photography.
